ChibiOS Free Embedded RTOS

Hello everyone,
I am a relatively new user to ChibiOS and I was wondering if support for GPTs using TIM15, 16, and 17 can be done?

I have seen this thread from 2015, viewtopic.php?t=2938, and I am wondering if anything changed in this 3 years.
