STM32F411 and RTS

Hi on the STM32F411 is it right when using the serial driver with hardware flow-control, RTS asserts every time a byte is received ?
I'm running at 115200 Baud and this seems to be what i see on the logic analyser. Is this what one would expect ?

Hi,
It is an entirely HW behavior, considering that the FIFO is one byte deep then it is kinda expected. Does the F411 support the large FIFO? if so, you could try to enable it in configuration, RTS should follow the FIFO state.

It does not support large FIFO, it just has a shift reg and recieve data register, so unless i did it manually, which could cause other issues, it is what it is........
