Hi,
thanks for the fix,
I can only test it on STM32F107 with ChibiOS 2.6, which seems ok (but I haven't actually run it yet).
However, in the trunk, there is (num <? STM32_CAN_MAX_FILTERS) instead of (num <= STM32_CAN_MAX_FILTERS),
and I am also not sure why you omitted the #else part, this way ...

CAN filters
Hi,
I wanted to set a single CAN filter on STM32F107 like this:
canSTM32SetFilters(1, 1, &comm_can_filter);
That means one filter for CAN1 and no filters for CAN2. However, this causes panic in canSTM32SetFilters.
chDbgCheck((can2sb > 1)...
I don't see why can2sb cannot be 1.

Re: Possible compiler bug ?
The behavior you are observing is expected, it is called integer promotion. (see https://www.securecoding.cert.org/confl ... sion+rules or somewhere else)
As uint16_t fits into int, it is converted to int before doing the subtraction, so you are comparing signed integers.

Re: How to use GPL for a user project?
Hi,
thank you, that is pretty much everything I needed to know.
am missing the difference between a "modified version of ChibiOS" and an unmodified ChibiOS plus some modified files
It is about the linker script. I use a custom loader, so I need one modified script for the loader and one for the ...

Re: How to use GPL for a user project?
Hi,
Ok, so I will take the files from trunk - this is not a problem.
State somewhere in the documentation that you are using a modified version of ChibiOS, you have to offer your modified version. It would be nice to link the unmodified version too, just a link to chibios.org will do

How to use GPL for a user project?
Hi,
I want to develop a user project using ChibiOS/RT and keep the files in a public git repository.
However, I don't know how to use the license and copyright notices in the repository.

Re: STM32F107 USB hangs
Hi, thanks for the reply.
I looked it up in linux driver source. It is SET_CONTROL_LINE_STATE (0x22) request.
In acm_tty_open it sets it to 3 (ACM_CTRL_DTR | ACM_CTRL_RTS), in acm_port_down it sets it to 0.
I see this is handled in sduRequestsHook with zero-sized response. This takes it to the USB ...

Hi, thanks for the replies!
It's true I am not consuming the X, but with the second version of the script, I am not even sending them. I am just opening and closing the file.
But to be 100% sure, I changed the main loop to this:

Re: STM32F107 USB hangs
Hi,
all the CH_DBG_ macros in chconf.h are TRUE.
I tried more variants of the main thread. It can be:
for(;;){
chThdSleepMilliseconds(1000);
palTogglePad(GPIOC, GPIOC_LED13);
}
That is not much activity and the problem still happens. I even tried:
chThdExit(0);
