Hi @DBS06, I'm not sure if you are still having trouble with STOP mode on your STM32F4x.. but I just had a bear of a time getting it to work on my STM32L151. But eventually I did, and added some notes in the linked post that may help you...

Re: Threads not working after STM32F4 STOP Mode
I have been battling ChibiOS + STM32 STOP mode for a while now, on an STM32L151.
I learned a few lessons on how to properly enter/exit STOP mode:
⋅ If you need RTC and pin change interrupt, don't use __WFE, you need __WFI.
⋅ You need to restore clocks after STOP using ...

Re: Stuck in idle_thread after wake from STOP
Hi Koen,
Thanks for the reply. Indeed the idlethread hooks are a nice feature, however I will likely not be able to use them because I plan to take extreme steps to lower power consumption during STOP mode, including setting all GPIOs to analog inputs. But I would not want GPIOs modified every ...

Stuck in idle_thread after wake from STOP
I'm trying to get wake from SLEEP/STOP mode working on STM32L151CC, with ChibiOS 16.1.0.
We first initialize the project, including starting debug serial port and setting EXTI 20 (for RTC wakeup event):
void extcb(EXTDriver *extp, expchannel_t channel)
{
(void) extp;
(void) channel ...

Re: ChibiOS on iNemo v1
@kulve: Hmmm well hopefully you've built some great ChibiOS apps since!
I just found by glitch: I didn't set ADC_CR2_SWSTART in the CR2 position of ADCConversionGroup. Without that flag, the conversion doesn't start
Best,
Chris

Re: ChibiOS on iNemo v1
@zuh, @kulve: Did you ever resolve your issue? I'm running into a similar issue on STM32F205 project with ChibiOS 3.x. Thanks!

Re: Reset Handler Crash
Thankfully the chip was not bad. Here's what the issue was and how I solved it:
tl;dr: I was not erasing before writing.
---
Details:
My script for loading the bin file was not correct. I could write once after erasing the chip, but then my updates would fail to run. Bits would be cleared but ...

Reset Handler Crash
Does anyone know what can cause the ResetHandler code to be corrupted? My project was working, but now crashes shortly after boot. Below is my ResetHandler code, which contains a jump to chvprintf, which seems wrong...

Re: STM32F205 Project Not Booting
Thanks for the heads up, Giovanni. Good to know.
I will search for anyone who has gotten ChibiOS running on STM32F205 and compare with their configs.
Best,
Chris

STM32F205 Project Not Booting
Hi,
I'm having trouble booting my project and would appreciate some help. I have had success in the past with F0 and F1 parts, but am having some trouble with the F2.
The board is custom, based on STM32F205RGT6 using the STLinkV2-1/SWD from a Nucleo board. I can successfully flash and debug bare ...
