Export Chibios Hal drivers

Hi to everybody,

recently I have begun to use STCUbe and keil microvision (is not my choice, it is a policy of the company I work for).
What I did not know was that the HAL drivers used by STMCUBE are different from the Chibios HAL DRIVERS.

STCUBE uses those drivers:

Re: PULL-UP Input

Hi marco, this morning I cleaned the project, at the instruction: palSetPadMode(GPIOB, 0, PAL_MODE_INPUT_PULLUP) was accepted by the compiler.

Now the code and the pull-up function are working like they are supposed to do! I have no idea why yesterday were not!

Thank you very much for your ...

Re: PULL-UP Input

Hi Marco,

The line code you wrote is not accepted by the compiler. it says it is not defined.

I searched the string "PIN_MODE_INPUT_PULLUP" in my chibistudio project and I have been not able to find its declaration.

I am reading the RM, and I see that the pull-up resistor on B0 is activated ...

Re: PULL-UP Input

Hi Giovanni, hi RoccoMarco,

thanks for your reply. I have already connected the grounds.

I agree with you Giovanni that those (0) makes no sense, but if I remove those (0) :

palSetPadMode(GPIOB, 0, PIN_MODE_INPUT | PIN_PUPDR_PULLUP);
The compiler gives me an error.

PULL-UP Input

Hi to all,

I configured the GPIOB0 pin as input, the code is the following:

palSetPadMode(GPIOB, 0, PIN_MODE_INPUT(0)|PIN_PUPDR_PULLUP(0));

And in an another board I configured GPIOA7 as output.
palSetPadMode(GPIOA, 7, PAL_STM32_MODE_OUTPUT);

The pin A7 have to generate a square wave, and ...

OCD unable to launch cfg (SOLVED)

Hi to all,

I would like to share a solution to a problem.

What happened?
I had launched the .cfg in the OCD and I had the following message:

Re: Enum definition and declaration

Thank you very much Giovanni, yes the declaration was in the header.

I did not know about this rule, I moved the declaration in the .c and now it is ok!

Enum definition and declaration

Hi to all,

I have a small problem using enums with chibistudio.

If I compile my project with the following piece of code:
typedef enum
{CLOSE_VALVE,
OPEN_VALVE} valve_state;
//valve_state valve1;

The compier does its job without errors.

If I de-comment the line of the declaration of ...
