Hi,

Not sure, try unzipping ChibiStudio again in case some file got corrupted or is missing (and make sure to run ChibiStudio using the provided link or batch file, *not* directly eclipse.exe).

Just a thorght
when i was playing settings to see if any thing worked (nothing did)
i did notice that at the start of the make i see the settings and the included paths like this

-MD -MP -MF .dep/vectors.o.d -mthumb -DTHUMB -I.
-I../../os/ports/common/ARMCMx/CMSIS/include
-I../.. BLAH BLAH

first should the -I. at the end of the first line have a path after it?
and should there be a space between the -I and the PATH like it would be in cmd?

I am sorry but I don't think that I can help here. I never used ChibiStudio or Eclipse at all.
Please try to start from scratch, make sure you unpack ChibiStudio correctly and launch it by the script that Giovanni mentioned, not actually by the executable. Then, try to build a simple blinking demo and keep all the add-on libraries like FatFS and ChibiOS/GFX or what ever you use away. Always try to create a very small test case!

The settings of ChibiStudio should work out of the box in default settings - that's the whole idea behind it. ChibiOS/GFX shouldn't be the problem here too.

You may also want to paste the full output of the compiled/linker. Please use a pasting service for this.

Hi,

The first -I is followed by a path, it is the ".". -I does not require spaces, we would not have ever compiled a program if that was the case.

Hi

I have the same problem:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
make: *** [build/obj/chcore.o] Error 2
process_begin: CreateProcess(NULL, arm-none-eabi-gcc -c -mcpu=cortex-m4 -O2 -ggdb -fomit-frame-pointer -falign-functions=16 -ffunction-sections -fdata-sections -fno-common -Wall -Wextra -Wstrict-prototypes -Wa,-alms=build/lst/chcore_v7m.lst -DCORTEX_USE_FPU=FALSE -DTHUMB_PRESENT -mno-thumb-interwork -DTHUMB_NO_INTERWORKING -MD -MP -MF .dep/chcore_v7m.o.d -mthumb -DTHUMB -I. -I../../os/ports/common/ARMCMx/CMSIS/include -I../../os/ports/common/ARMCMx -I../../os/ports/GCC/ARMCMx -I../../os/ports/GCC/ARMCMx/STM32F4xx -I../../os/kernel/include -I../../test -I../../os/hal/include -I../../os/hal/platforms/STM32F4xx -I../../os/hal/platforms/STM32 -I../../os/hal/platforms/STM32/GPIOv2 -I../../os/hal/platforms/STM32/I2Cv1 -I../../os/hal/platforms/STM32/OTGv1 -I../../os/hal/platforms/STM32/RTCv2 -I../../os/hal/platforms/STM32/SPIv1 -I../../os/hal/platforms/STM32/TIMv1 -I../../os/hal/platforms/STM32/USARTv1 -I../../boards/ST_STM32F4_DISCOVERY -I../../os/various/devices_lib/accel -I../../os/various ../../os/ports/GCC/ARMCMx/chcore_v7m.c -o build/obj/chcore_v7m.o, ...) failed.
make (e=2): Specified file not found.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The make utility GNU Make 3.81. Platform Win7 64 bits. I try to build this demo on Linux and it works fine! May be anyone know how to resolve this problem.

Thanks in advance,
Roman

The make does not find arm-none-eabi-gcc.exe.

Are you compiling from inside Eclipse or from command line?

Hi,
I have tried and so and so and results are the same. Moreover, in windows console arm-none-eabi-gcc.exe can started without full path. In fact it is not a serious problem for me, in Linux all works fine and that is enought :)

Strange, ChibiStudio should work out of the box assuming you unpacked it exactly as C:\ChibiStudio.
