Re: ChibiStudio for linux
Hi,
There is not an "official" ChibiStudio for Linux? the problem would be which Linux...
However I use my Eclipse environment under Ubuntu is configured exactly like ChibiStudio and I can work with that without problems, you just need to assemble it by yourself by copying the ChibiStudio setup.
Install the compiler (CodeSourcery or ARM GCC on launchpad) and OpenOCD separately and make sure your PATHs locates their binaries, then install Eclipse Juno for C/C++ and put there the plugins included in the ChibiOS distribution.
You just need to import the projects into the workspace (.project files already in the zip) and copy the launch configurations from the Windows ChibiStudio. Finally setup the workspace to your liking.

If you got a basic setup working, I guess many people would be thankful if you'd provide a .zip

Re: ChibiStudio for linux
Not possible, the use of ST-Link requires settings in the system USB files and I cannot zip those, the settings are also different from distribution to distribution. Read the OCD documentation.

I see, it's not as easy as I thought then. Well, I know why I don't use any IDE anymore
