here my patches for adding support for Mega2560 based board.
Actually just the first one is the port... the second is a bug fix for the Makefile and the third is a demo for a Mega2560 based board.

There's the __AVR_3_BYTE_PC__ macro defined for uCs that have PCs longer than 16-bit. That would be better to use it than using __AVR_ATmega2560__ because future CPUs would also be supported.
Also, is there any reason for putting the new pcx fields somewhere in the middle of the structs instead of in the end?
