USB serial OUT enpoint stall?

I'm using USB serial driver and I have the following question:

What happens if the input queue of the driver becomes full? Is it an error condition (data overlap or missing) or the OUT endpoint is stalled?

Sorry, I'm newbie in chibios and have a difficult to follow the code chain from higher level driver to the USB hardware to find the right answer.
