EXT and SerialDriver Compatibility

Post by chrismerck »

How can ChibiOS SerialDriver and EXTI be used simultaneously?

I can initialize and use the sd driver just fine:

Code: Select all

+  52   sdStop(DBG_CONSOLE_DRIVER);
+  53   sdStart(DBG_CONSOLE_DRIVER, &DbgConsoleCfg);

But then when I initialize EXT the sd reception stops working correctly:

Code: Select all

   45 void EXT_Init()
   46 {
   47   extStart(&EXTD1, &extcfg);
   48   extChannelEnable(&EXTD1, 17);
   49   extChannelEnable(&EXTD1, 11);
   50 }

Should I modify the EXTConfig somehow to make it work?

EDIT: I should mention I'm on Chibios 2.7 using STM32F103.

EDIT: I have narrowed the problem down to nvicEnableVector(EXTI15_10_IRQn,CORTEX_PRIORITY_MASK(STM32_EXT_EXTI10_15_IRQ_PRIORITY)); in ext_lld_exti_irq_enable().
This should be setting EXTI15_10 and not interfering with USART3 which is right above it in IRQ position. Could be a bug in the nvic macros?

Thanks,
Chris
