ST-LINK v2 not working anymore

Post by Korken »

Hi,

I tried the latest version of ChibiStudio and it seems to have broken the ST-LINK v2 support.
First it tries to connect using JTAG, not SWD and when SWD is specified this error is given:
Open On-Chip Debugger 0.9.0-dev-00268-ga9c90a0 (2015-02-08-10:38)
Licensed under GNU GPL v2
For bug reports, read
http://openocd.sourceforge.net/doc/doxygen/bugs.html
Error: Debug adapter doesn't support 'swd' transport
Runtime Error: embedded:startup.tcl:20:
in procedure 'script'
at file "embedded:startup.tcl", line 58
in procedure 'transport' called at file "C:\ChibiStudio\tools\openocd\scripts\target\stm32f4x_stlink.cfg", line 1
in procedure 'ocd_bouncer'
at file "embedded:startup.tcl", line 20

Is there any know fix for this?

Thanks!

Best Regards
Emil

Hi,

I tested here, it works normally. There must be some other cause, could you try to unzip it again?

Hi,

I have been able to crack this.
They changed some things so just base your cfg on a board cfg and modify to your needs don't try to modify the old one.
