Chibios and RDP

Post by kab »

Hi!

Does anyone try to protect firmware based on ChibiOS from readout?
I mean readout data protection (RDP) or Proprietary Code Read Out Protection (PCROP).
Seems, that RDP level 1 should work fine, but i'm not sure.
Does anyone have successful expirience?

Inside the CPU there should be no difference if you enable readout protection. That is: Unless you're doing special things like re flashing the CPU from your code. (I don't think STM has this kind of restrictions, but Atmel does. )

Anyway.... But I haven't tried it.

Btw, i've checked read out data protection (RDP) level 1.
All working fine, no problems at all.
