SPI CRC polynomial

Post by neums »

Hi,
i want to use the SPI CRC feature with a customized crc polynomial but i can not access the CRCPR (crc polynomial register) via SPIConfig. Is it possible to add this register in the SPIConfig structure?

Thanks you for helping me :-)

I am not sure that adding the register would be sufficient. The driver does not handle CRC.

Probably DMA settings would be affected by CRC, you should try and see if other changes are required, if so then we could plan it for next release.

For sure the "bad CRC" status must be brought to the application, maybe a new callback or a return code from synchronous functions, those return void currently. So there is for sure a moderate API change.
