Freescale D4D eGUI запуск на всех ARM Cortex-M3, M4

Post by JerryR »

Здравствуйте, успешно собрал и запустил Freescale D4D eGUI для STM32F107 плата GoldBull, контроллер дисплея ili9320 3,2", тачскрина tsc2046 компилятор Sourcery CodeBench Lite 2011.09-69 for ARM EABI RTOS ChibiOS 2.4.0.

(By the way light version of the compiler mentor stuck somewhere far away, so that, if someone need the latest version can share)
From a purely positive experience eGUI.
There is reason to believe that the eGUI without any problems will be collected and run on any ARM Cortex-Mx.
To work eGUI not require RTOS and specialized functions, only the call of the timer handler touchscreen and periodically call D4D_Poll () (not timer) for the most eGUI. The rest of the description, see the original: http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/sit ... rch=1&sr=4
If you are interested or have any questions please contact us here, then try to draw a more detailed instruction how to build, run, and add the driver (although there, and so everything is very nicely done that and just clear the code))), and of course to answer questions.
Videos (not mine, but that demo) on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MSiegwO5s90

What I do not understand is why the video is speaking of "BRTOS" not ChibiOS - and probably the menu system is only supposed (frome a licence point of view) to run on Freescale CPUs?

License information is missing. Provided "as is". Information from Freescale_embedded_GUI_SW.zip
This is similar to videos.

When I download the software from Freescale I had to accept this:

FREESCALE SEMICONDUCTOR SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT

[..]

LICENSE GRANT. Exclusively in conjunction with Licensee’s development and sale of a product containing a programmable processing unit (e.g., a microprocessor, microcontroller, or digital signal processor) supplied directly or indirectly from Freescale (“Freescale System”), Freescale grants to you, free of charge, the non-exclusive, non-transferable right (1) to use the Software, (2) to reproduce the Software, (3) to prepare derivative works of the Software, (4) to distribute the Software and derivative works thereof in object (machine-readable) form as part of a Freescale System, and (5) to sublicense to others the right to use the distributed Software as included within the Freescale System. You must prohibit your sublicensees from translating, reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the Software except to the extent applicable law specifically prohibits such restriction. If you violate any of the terms or restrictions of this Agreement, Freescale may immediately terminate this Agreement, and require that you stop using and delete all copies of the Software in your possession or control.

Non the less it's great I proved this is also working on ChibiOS - and one could claim it is supposed to work on Freescale systems. But since the HAL is generic, it will also work anywhere else

Some when I really do need to look for an open source GUI system for mikrocontrollers - can't believe there is nothing suitable...

ok :) I think for non-commercial project that does not matter.
In my product, I use RS08KA2 microcontroller, but running on eGUI stm32. RS08KA2 generates a signal for work eGUI. The license code must be unspeakably that run in the microcontroller freescale. This is acceptable?
P.S. I'm not sure I understand correctly that the contents of the license in English. I'm sorry: (
