why i wasn't able to debug the demo code while i can only flash it?

Hi,
i tried the demo program with STM32F767 Nucleo board.I'm not getting any error when compiling.then i opened the openOCD channel and clicked the debug icon.Now i getting error when debugging but the code is getting dumped into the device.I need to debug every steps to see how the program actually works?Is that possible and if yes ,How??

Hi,
I saw the tutorials and tried the same as mentioned in the tutorial .i followed the following article https://www.playembedded.org/blog/devel ... ibistudio/
From the Debug Menu, i can now launch the flash and run procedure selecting the proper Launch Configuration but after clicking that debug button im getting this error.I have attached the screenshot please let me know anything i'm missing .
Im using STM32F767Zi-Nucleo Board ,here is what i'm getting in console.
"Cannot access memory at address 0x202e10
Cannot insert breakpoint 1.
Cannot access memory at address 0x2031bc"

That's strange, try erasing the board using the ST-Link utility then try again.

BTW, I see you have your email as name, it is visible to everybody, if you want it changed I can do that.

I tried after erasing the board using ST-Link utility.Still i'm facing the same issue "Exception is suspended because of error"

Thanks for changing the name.

I have only one board with me and i feel there is no issue with board.
I can run examples in my board ,only thing i cannot do is debugging step by step.
I feel there is some configuration issues with ChibiStudio.
is there anything i need to uninstall before using this??

Try reinstalling ChibiStudio after uninstalling the antivirus, then reinstall the antivirus.

It sometime happens that AV software deletes files randomly (false positives) during copy.

I don't have any antivirus installed in my computer.any other things will cause the error??

Using gdb manually, I need to use hb (hardware assisted break) rather than b (normal breaK) for the F767 board.

I don't know how to do that from ChibiStudio as I've not used it yet.
