STM32F303 and USB

Post by ybou »

Hi,
I have to modify an old project and I have :
    A BIN file
    The source files

With the BIN file, everything is OK, PC can recognize USB device (STM32) and the application software run as perfect.
If I compile the source files, the BIN file is generated, I can debug it with ST-Link, but the PC cannot recognize the device (it is classified in "Unknown devices", only is the Product String is correct).

I think the source files are not the ones that were compiled to make the BIN file :(

I'm totally new on ChibiOs... and totally lost !
I tried to change USB interrupt priorities and other stuffs but without success.

Every ideas is welcome !!

PS : the USB device is "Base Class 00h (Device)"

If the source files you have are not those used for the binary I cannot help. Try to get in touch with the person who compiled it and get more info.

Giovanni,
Of course, I've tried to find the real files but the person is now missing.
I think it's just a little problem during enumeration, but where ?

The project was created under 17.6.0 ; between the last version, is there some difference on the USB part ?

Is there a demo project for STM32F303 with USB (not in CDC mode) ?

A lot changed in the OS, 17.6 it is 3 years old, USB received some fixes and optimizations but the driver is basically the same, migration should be relatively easy.
