Mind you, I had a hell of a week tracking a problem which turned out to be BAD CODE GENERATION by the Keil compiler. I tracked it down to assembly level. Not entirely sure but I believe it was MDK-ARM 4.52. Moved to 4.60 which comes with compiler version 5.0 and the problem disappeared.
I freaked out up to the point of spending a couple of days trying to get Eclipse + GCC + OpenOCD working with no luck. Of course Eclipse + GCC is easy, but never got the integrated debugger to work properly and that's a deal breaker for me. So I'm stuck with Keil and its shitty editor and ridiculous compile times.

Did you try ChibiStudio? it is already integrated.

Um... no, didn't try it. I will.
Though I must say I was trying to get the whole thing to work under linux, because, and that's another nuisance of my setup, I'm now working on a VirtualBox Win7 VM.
