I've never used Keil myself but I know that it cannot handle external Makefiles and therefore you have to include all the files yourself. There's a keil project file within /demos/ARMCM3-STM32F103/keil. I took a quick look and it seems to contain all the necesary information. Maybe that one works?

Hi,

What Tectu suggested, that one is a demo for the F103, project files for Keil are included.

Hi,

ChibiOS is not specific of any country :)

If you are not used to RTOSes in general the you may start from Wikipedia (look for threads, semaphores, mutexes, mutual exclusion, critical zones) or search a good book regarding operating system concepts, not sure about which one, the one I used 25 years ago is "Operating Systems Design , the XINU Approach" by Douglas Comer, I didn't look for more books on this subject after developing my own experience.

It is still sold: http://www.amazon.com/Operating-System- ... 0136375391
I would look for more recent books anyway.

Note that ChibiOS is not meant as a teaching tool, it is meant to be an effective RTOS in the hands of experienced developers, however several schools and colleges already use it for teaching. I am doing trainings in some universities here in Italy too.
