IAR project setup

How do I get IAR to search the ChibiOS_2.6.4 directory structure for the files needed to compile?

There is a spot in the Project > Options > C/C++ Complier > Preprocessor, to add directories, but it seems as though every leaf directory needs to be listed. Seems there should be an easier way.

Hi,

If there is a more rational way then I have never found it. If you look at the various IAR demos you will see that all required directories are listed.

Thanks for your weekend help.

Added the directories one at a time, one for each error.

One step at a time. Now how about the linker. I am getting errors such as these:

Error[Li005]: no definition for "halInit" [referenced from C:\ChibiOS_2.6.4\projects\four_motor_iar\iar\Debug\Obj\main.o]
Error[Li005]: no definition for "chSysInit" [referenced from C:\ChibiOS_2.6.4\projects\four_motor_iar\iar\Debug\Obj\main.o]
Error[Li005]: no definition for "sdStart" [referenced from C:\ChibiOS_2.6.4\projects\four_motor_iar\iar\Debug\Obj\main.o]
...
Error[Li005]: no definition for "sduRequestsHook" [referenced from C:\ChibiOS_2.6.4\projects\four_motor_iar\iar\Debug\Obj\usbcfg.o]
Error[Li005]: no definition for "usbInitEndpointI" [referenced from C:\ChibiOS_2.6.4\projects\four_motor_iar\iar\Debug\Obj\usbcfg.o]
Error[Li005]: no definition for "sduConfigureHookI" [referenced from C:\ChibiOS_2.6.4\projects\four_motor_iar\iar\Debug\Obj\usbcfg.o]
...

Any hints?

Thanks, ALB

Make sure to include all the required files into the project. I suggest you start from one of the provided examples.
