Triggering EXT ADC using a DMA event on TIM update

Hi,
since I am afraid it can become really tricky I guess its wort the new thread...

Still working on the motor controller, I found this document, how ADC sampling is done in the STM32 PMSM FOC SDK, which is unfortunately not open source.

The details are explained in chapter "5.1 Current sampling in three-shunt topology"
It is said to be applicable on STM32F1-4.

There, it is stated that "DMA is used to enable ADC injected conversion external trigger"

I would really like to make use of that feature but I don't find any hint in the STM32F1 Reference Manual.

The background of their example is described on the two page in chapter 5.1.

I'm afraid this is going to be tricky.
Has anybody an idea?
