InputCapture referenced to Systick timer

In chibios 3, is it possible to use the Systick timers spare channels for inputcapture without distrubing the OS ?
It would be nice as the inputs would be perfectly synced to system time, allowing low prio threads to schedule future events.

Only channel 1 is used, not a bad idea, the other 3 channels could be freely programmed. This would require a customization of the ST driver because the ISR is there.
