I have use v3 about a year without any meaningful problems. But official release is always good.

Sorry if this is a stupid question but i had expected a defined branch "stable_3.0.x" in the ChibiOS GITHUB repository to pull from. Am i missing something? thank you.

The branch is present on subversion, as far I know the git repository is updated manually once in a while. Giovanni
