Halting debugger with IWDG

Trying to stop the IWDG resetting the device when using breakpoints on STM32G071

Ive got this set
DBG->APBFZ1 |= DBG_APB_FZ1_DBG_IWDG_STOP;

but still resets, am i missing anything ?

If that didn't work on first try I'd disable the watchdog until I have my current debugging-session done. Or are you debugging something related to the watchdog?
