Crossworks 3.0 Project file for STM32F4-Discovery demo
Hello,
I've created a ready-to-use Crossworks project file for the STM32F4-Discovery demo in ChibiOS. This file will not work with any previous version of Rowley Crossstudio.
All you need to do is:
1. Create a directory for the crossworks project: ChibiOS-RT/demos/ARMCM4-STM32F407-DISCOVERY ...

Re: Contributing to ChibiOS/RT
So if I initiate a pull request on the community repo on github, it might end up in the main repository if there is enough interest?

Contributing to ChibiOS/RT
Hello,
I've been trying to find a place where I can get information on how to contribute code to this awesome project. My main interest in contributing to the hal and porting to different technologies. Would initiating a pull request on github be accepted?
Thanks,
Alex

Re: Problems STM32 Port to Crossworks Toolchain
Hi,
I actually just ported that demo to the new Crossworks 3.0 IDE. I've semi-ported the OS to Crossworks 2.3.1 but I had to modify some lines in the code to have it compile, which is not ideal since you don't want to modify OS code to be able to port it to a compiler. I recognize some of the ...

Crossworks STM32F4-DISCOVERY Demo Project file
Hello,
I've created a Crossworks IDE project file (v3.0 beta) that compiles/runs/debugs the demo project that is already in the 2.6.0 stable. Is there a way I can contribute to the project by submitting the file to the trunk in some way?
Thanks,
Alex

.tbss section in ChibiOS
Hello,
I have mostly ported the ChibiOS application to Rowley Crossworks except for a few last things. Their user_libc.o needs to know where a particular section of memory called ".tbss" is. A google search tell me that this section is associated with the uninitialized thread variables section. Is ...

Re: GCC Startup Assembly file?
Ok I understand now. I made it so that it used only the ctr0.c file.
Just one heads up: The linker program from crossworks expected a reset handler called "reset_handler", however the one in ChibiOS is called "ResetHandler". I manually renamed it in the crt0.c file and it built the .elf correctly ...

GCC Startup Assembly file?
Hello,
I am porting ChibiOS to Rowley Crossworks manually (which means I am not using any of their startup files whatsoever) which uses GCC. However, I am looking through the ChibiOS repository and I cannot find the startup file for GCC. When I was in Keil using RVCT, I had the cstartup.s file that ...

Re: chThdSleepMilliseconds doesnt return
I am getting the same problem using ChibiOS and Rowley Crossworks. My program goes to sleep and waits for an interrupt except it never happens. The same program in Keil runs fine.
Does anyone have an idea of how this is happening?
