Just as an aside, I see this showing up the new makefiles from my port to Chibios 3.x - it initially threw me when it broke my project.
I used to store the halconf.h, chconf.h etc in a config specific folder along with other project config files - took me a while to work out why my projects would ...

Re: SerialDriver protected by Semaphore output split
Hi - I'm using Chibistudio Preview - latest, so yes, 2.6.4 (but I think it may have been an idiot coding issue - not 100% sure just yet, but have managed to make it work
).

SerialDriver protected by Semaphore output split
Hi All,
Anyone have any ideas why I'm getting this issue ?
Short issue statement: When writing to SD3 from 2 threads (main+worker) ( with binarySemaphore protecting access to SD3) the last byte of the previous string gets delayed until after the complete string of the second write.
PS - Please ...

Re: chprintf: float precision
Yes, I realised that - just not what I was expecting the function to perform.
I originally expected accurate responses at least to a few decimal places - so maybe my terminology was wrong - just need a different ftoa implementation.

Re: chprintf: float precision
Good timing - was just about to address this myself today as I need specific precision - manually added the patch by hand (don't know how to patch the code with tools) and got it working fine.
The only issue now is that the float handling doesn't actually work properly and has some rounding issues ...

Re: Serial Driver Buffer Management
Yeah - was trying to find a way to do it without cloning a driver, so that Chibios version upgrades / driver patches didn't need rework etc.
All good.

Re: Serial Driver Buffer Management
Just realised that option 2 may not be an option - thought that the buffers were pointers, but they are just array data blocks within the structure, so can't just swap them out at runtime

Serial Driver Buffer Management
Hi,
I have a need for a project to utilise 3 serialdrivers, but I have varying needs for the RX/TX Buffer sizes that will be used for them and don't have enough memory to just set the buffer size to be large for all SerialDriver objects.

Re: ChibiStudio Problems
For me and openOCD, stlink utility must not be started - because it connects to taregt fine if you launch ST-LINK but it locks the stlink,so openocd cannot control it.
So my workflow was as I wrote above.
I'm using stlink + Chibistudio unchanged ...

Re: ChibiStudio preview 6
Hi - don't think its the paths.
I have a suspicion it was simply that I had a process holding open the build directory when I did the clean. If it can't remove the build folder, but can remove the sub folders, next time through the build fails as it didn't recreate the map/obj folders. Deleting the ...
